About Rees Funeral Home
Rees Funeral Home was estabalished in 1960 by Jerry and Mary Jane Rees. In 1985 they purchased the Olson chapel in Portage. In 1990 James Krause, a longtime employee, and Patricia A. Rees, the Rees' daughter purchased the manage and operate the funeral homes as a family run business that believes funeral homes. In 1993 they purchased the Brady funeral home in Lake Station and in 2005 they completed construction of the Winfield Chapel.
Today Jim, his son, Josh and his wife, Tory, and Jim's daughter, Julie currently in service.
