The Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone was founded by John J. Skradski in 1947. John and his wife, Marcella, operated the funeral home until 1979 when Jeffery L. Waeghe purchased the business. John continued to work at the Skradski Funeral Home until his death in 1984. Marcella retired in 1998.
