In 1994, David B. Gentry, Laura G. Vanhoy, and H.W. Sharpe, Jr. took an opportunity and purchased the former Huff Funeral Home Facility of Jonesville, located at 4517 Little Mountain Road. The facility was remodeled and opened on June 24 of the same year as Gentry Family Funeral Service. In 1996 a decision was made to expand the operations to Yadkinville for a broader service area and to better serve the families located there.
