Cornwell Colonial Chapel was founded in 1933 by J. Melvin Ringo, when he purchased the business on the corner of First and Garfield in Woodburn.In 1939, Melvin's daughter Lou Jane married Charles Cornwell. After serving in WWII, Charles and Lou Jane returned to Woodburn where he continued the business over the next 60 years. Today the business continues to extend the same personal service for which Cornwell Colonial Chapel has been noted.
