History

Paul metro area. Buffalo is a city in and the county seat of Wright County, Minnesota County, Minnesota, United States. There were several resorts located around Lake Pulaski, one of the two largest lakes in Buffalo. Visitors would take a train from the Twin Cities and arrive in Buffalo only an hour later. The population was 10,097 at the United States Census, 2000 census.

Buffalo got its start in the 1800s as a resort town for wealthy day-trippers from the Minneapolis-St.
