History

A landmark of Hingham is the water tower built in 1948. The town is served by North Star Schools which is a consolidation of Rudyard, Hingham, Gildford and Kremlin schools. The population was 157 at the 2000 United States Census census.

Hingham is a small agricultural community founded along the Great Northern Railroad. Hingham is a town in Hill County, Montana County, Montana, United States. In its hayday many of the businesses were centered around the town park giving it the nickname "The Town on the Square".
