The Ocean Grove Memorial Home was established in 1956 by William P. Walton, Jr., who was also the owner of the Farry Memorial Home in Asbury Park. 1n 1966, his son, William P., III, received his license and began working for his father. Also on the staff at that time were Robert E. Nicholson and Donald R. Newman, both of whom would be on staff for over 30 years.
