George F. Stoecklein, Sr. discovered and fell in love with the cemetery industry in 1951. He began working as a Memorial Counselor, assisting families at a Memorial Park near Pittsburgh. Eventually, George was able to accumulate enough resources and fulfill his dream of owning a cemetery. In 1956 he purchased Penn Lincoln Memorial Park, in Irwin, Pennsylvania.
