East Texas Funeral Home is owned and operated by Mr. George McGrede and his wife, Wanda. George was born and raised in Longview and graduated from Longview High School in 1962. He graduated from the Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science in 1963, and is a Texas licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. Mr. McGrede operates several businesses and opened East Texas Funeral Home in 1993.
