In 1884, the first funeral home in the small city of Snohomish was established by Charles H. Bakeman.White bought the funeral home in 1929, and changed the name to Bakeman-White Funeral Home. The current funeral home was built in 1935 at the corner of First and Maple out of recycled materials and lumber from other buildings on First Street and under the influence of an Episcopal priest.
