Green Services

At French, we are one of only two funeral service providers in New Mexico that are certified by the Green Burial Council, a nonprofit organization that encourages the use of burial as a means of facilitating the restoration, acquisition and stewardship of natural areas throughout the United States. For green arrangements, formaldehyde-based embalming is prohibited, as is the use of metal or concrete grave-liners, burial-vaults or other permanent burial containers. We offer caskets, urns and other containers that are created from natural and biodegradable materials. At Sunset Memorial Park, we provide a tranquil rose garden for the scattering of cremated remains, which not only offers an eco-friendly alternative but a convenient location in the heart of the city.

Grief Assistance
