The population was 421 at the 2010 census. The city is part of the Salem Metropolitan Statistical Area.

History

He had arrived in Oregon in 1811 as part of John Jacob Astor's American Fur Company. Paul Roman Catholic Church Paul Mission founded by Archbishop François Norbert Blanchet, who arrived in the Oregon Territory in 1838 to minister to the Catholic inhabitants of French Prairie. It is part of the Salem, Oregon Salem metropolitan area Statistical Area. Also home of the St Paul High Buckaroos and one of the most successful high school athletic programs in the state of Oregon.
